What is Jeuveau®?
Jeuveau® (prabotulinumtoxinA-xvfs) is a newer-generation neuromodulator that received FDA approval in 2019 specifically for the cosmetic improvement of moderate to severe glabellar lines. It is produced exclusively for aesthetic use — a modern replacement for BOTOX® and Dysport® that some patients refer to as the “NewTox.”
Like BOTOX® and Dysport®, Jeuveau® works by temporarily reducing the activity of the muscles that pull the skin between the brows into vertical lines. We use authentic, FDA-approved product and tailor dosing to your facial anatomy.
Jeuveau® units are not interchangeable with BOTOX® or Dysport® units. During your consultation, we will recommend the neuromodulator that best fits your goals, history, and the way your face moves.
FDA approval
Jeuveau® is FDA-approved for the temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe glabellar lines (frown lines between the brows) associated with corrugator and/or procerus muscle activity in adult patients.
Results are temporary; duration varies by patient. We review expectations and timing during your consultation.

What a Jeuveau® visit includes
We look at how your face moves, your medical history, and any neuromodulator you have had before. Jeuveau® is placed in the muscles that pull the skin between the brows into vertical lines. Its labeled cosmetic use is those frown lines in adults. It is not the labeled treatment for forehead lines or crow's feet.
Jeuveau® units are not interchangeable with BOTOX® or Dysport® units. Results are temporary, and how long they last varies. Timing and a unit estimate are part of the consultation, before any treatment.
Questions about Jeuveau®
- What is Jeuveau® approved to treat?
- Temporary improvement of moderate to severe glabellar lines associated with corrugator and/or procerus muscle activity in adults. FDA approval for that cosmetic use was in 2019. Jeuveau® is made for aesthetic use.
- Are Jeuveau® units the same as BOTOX® or Dysport® units?
