What is Dysport®?
Dysport® (abobotulinumtoxinA) is an FDA-approved injectable focused specifically on the glabellar lines — the vertical “11s” that form between the brows when you concentrate or frown. It is administered as a small set of precisely placed injections into the muscles that drive that movement.
Because Dysport® was approved by the FDA for a focused cosmetic indication, it is often selected for patients whose primary aesthetic goal is softening frown lines. Like every neuromodulator, Dysport® dosing is patient-specific, and units are not interchangeable with other botulinum toxin products.

FDA approval
Dysport® is FDA-approved for the temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe glabellar lines (frown lines between the brows) associated with procerus and corrugator muscle activity in adults under 65 years of age.
Results are temporary. Per FDA labeling, Dysport® should be administered no more frequently than every three months; we plan retreatment timing around how your results settle.
